Director of Clinical Services
Ellingham hospital is a 44 bedded independent hospital providing specialist inpatients treatment for Children and Adolescent with mental health and learning Disability, in addition to the provision of an acute ward for adults with mental health problems
Conveniently located close to the A11 in the small town of Attleborough, the hospital CAMHS provision is provided on two wards which includes a low secure unit. The adult acute ward is currently being refurbished with a view to provide two 12 bedded wards in an environment conducive to their recovery.
The hospital is supported by a robust multi-disciplinary team of professionals including psychiatrist, psychologist speech & language therapist, Occupational therapist, nurses, social worker, art therapist and a family therapist. There is also an Ofsted registered school on site supporting the young people with their education.
The Director of Clinical Services will be responsible for the operational management of Nursing and Therapy staff team and is directly accountable to the Hospital Director.
We will expect the Director of Clinical Services to lead the clinical teams to deliver our purpose to make a real and lasting difference for everyone we support. You will lead by building a culture that supports our values and puts the people we care for at the centre of what we do. Supported by the multi-disciplinary team at site and the wider group teams, you will be accountable for ensuring clinical and therapeutic interventions meets the needs of our patients and the service.
The post involved participating in the Senior Management on call rota.
