A top 20 UK charity, St Andrew`s is a unique provider of specialist care in mental health and learning disability. We aspire to deliver truly world class, holistic services within our outstanding, modern facilities. Our independence means we can always put patients` interests at the heart of decision making, while re-investing surpluses in frontline services.  We are currently transforming the Charity and are introducing Integrated Practice Units (IPUs) as the vehicle to deliver ‘Value Based Healthcare`.  This will ensure our patients consistently get the best possible outcomes and local teams gain more control and responsibility.
Our specialist Men`s Medium Secure IPU is made up of 5 wards; Prichard, Cranford, Robinson, Fairbairn and Rose.  All situated in William Wake House, each ward has their area of specialism and provides exceptional care for male patients with needs including; deaf/communication difficulties, brain injury and personality disorders. The medium secure IPU is a rewarding place to work - with new projects happening that bring ideas to life as well as a range of learning & development opportunities for staff to grow personally and professionally.
We recognise how important our nurses are to the success of our work and the future of our organisation. So we`ve recently introduced new specialist career pathways. You can realise your full potential through a structured plan encompassing training, development, mentoring, responsibility, qualifications, research and progression - with the flexibility to follow a path into senior clinical roles or nursing management positions.
