Our specialist DBT IPU , working with woman with Borderline Personality Disorder, is a fine example of our pioneering work, providing a safe place for rehabilitation and recovery for women with complex needs. From trauma and abuse to domestic violence, our range of services is uniquely diverse and we have specialists in every area who understand the very specific and wide ranging needs of women with Borderline Personality Disorder and how to help them.

With the launch of our DBT Integrated Practice Unit (IPU) we can now offer you the chance to work in this stimulating and challenging environment, with a particular emphasis on supporting the DBT structured enviroment and therapeutic activities. We have a long and proud history at the forefront of DBT and it`s highly valued within the Charity. As well as an excellent DBT organisational-wide support network, you`ll be trained by and work alongside recognised experts, following our structured 5 function therapy programme to help patients manage and control emotions more effectively and achieve behavioural control.

The role of Clinical Nurse Leader
You`ll be the most senior nurse on the ward, maintaining a high profile and visible presence, whilst working alongside a multi-disciplinary team. You`ll lead the nursing shift team, driving the clinical model and contribute to improvements in practice, in conjunction with the Advanced Nurse Practitioner.

What you will need for this role
Substantial experience of working in women's mental health or services is going to be important. Leadership, excellent communication and people management skills are also key, as you`ll be relied upon to keep your team happy and motivated.
