The Priory Hospital Nottingham is conveniently located near the centre of Nottingham, ensuring easy access by train, bus or car. The hospital only accepts patients referred and funded through the NHS, and no longer operates a private healthcare service at the hospital.
We provide effective and personalised evidence-based treatment programmes for both men and women aged 18 years or older, who require acute mental health emergency care. We ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all and our newly decorated facility includes:

Our multidisciplinary team has the expertise and experience to treat a variety of psychiatric conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.
The support we offer is Occupational Therapy based and we provide a variety of therapeutic interventions
All treatment is personalised to each individual’s needs and includes aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). We ensure patients have a say in their treatment and arrange weekly team meetings with both patients and staff.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our existing staff team - a full time vacancy has arisen for a RMN to join our team at Nottingham for a thirteen month period to cover Maternity Leave from mid December 2018 until January 2020. As part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the primary role will be to undertake and manage direct care to patients with a variety of acute psychiatric illnesses. The candidate will be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and possess the ability to demonstrate sound and appropriate nursing techniques in the acute psychiatric setting. The successful candidate will be organised with a proven track record of managing a systematic approach to care plans and the management of risk. The candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain the highest levels of quality care and professionalism possible. This role would suit a newly qualified nurse, we provide comprehensive preceptorship training. As a site, we are also open to candidates with RNLD qualifications to increase our existing set of skills.
