(Lucena Clinic (CAMHS) & Cluain Mhuire Services)

The St John of God Community Mental Health Service is a community based mental health service.  It serves and adult population of over 195,000 in the Dublin South East area and provides a comprehensive child and adolescent mental health service to our defined catchment areas, with a population of 645,000, residing in south Dublin city and county, and the county of Wicklow.

The service strives to work in a person centered and recovery orientated way, supporting nurses to lead out on innovation and service delivery.  It is an exciting and fast paced service with a fully integrated electronic patient record and a strong research focus.

 

REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH STAFF NURSES and COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH NURSES (CAMHS)

(Permanent, Full - Time)

                                                                       

The successful applicants must show that they meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered or eligible for the current psychiatric nursing division of the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI);
  • Be prepared to undertake venipuncture;
  • Provide evidence that they are engaging in continuing professional development;
  • Have proved demonstrable experience of flexible working and project a professional appearance/attitude fully embracing the recovery philosophy of Mental Health Nursing;
  • Have excellent communication, teamwork, organisational and interpersonal skills;
  • Have experience of working in the mental health environment is desirable.
