We know that Priory wouldn’t exist without their combined energy, expertise and effort.  So we invest heavily in training, provide first-class support, promote collaborative teamwork and give everyone on our team the opportunities and resources to achieve their full potential.

Kent House is a 17-bedded Tier 4 low secure hospital for young people aged 12 – 18 years with mental health, behavioural or psychological difficulties, including ASD, and an OFSTED-registered school which supports the young people with educational attainment.

The service is set in a rural environment with close links and transport to the local community and amenities.

We provide care for the young people admitted to Kent House Hospital in the least restrictive way and we adhere to the values and principles of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). We are members of the Quality Network for Inpatient CAMHSto measure and improve the quality of our care and treatment.

We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Ward Manager to work in our Low Secure CAMHS service at Kent House Hospital.  You will have proven leadership skills along with a strong drive to develop the nursing team and nursing practice within the unit.

The successful candidate will be an RMN / RNLD and will ideally have experience of working within a CAMHS inpatient environment in a leadership role.  You will have excellent communication skills, experience of providing supervision within a nursing team and the ability and motivation to input into the wider development of the service and the hospital.

The Ward Manager will report directly to the Director of Clinical Services and will be responsible for ensuring that the nursing team possesses the skills, knowledge and motivation to offer and deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. Further to this the successful candidate will also participate in direct patient care whilst coordinating the quality of care throughout the ward alongside the administrative requirements of the role.
